Congratulations to Pioneer Jr-Sr High School student-manager Abigail Hooten for earning an IHSAA Exemplary Behavior Report from Official Charles "Eric" Lucas during the 2024 William Henry Harrison High School Junior Varsity Girls' Volleyball Invitational on Sat Sep 21! According to Mr. Lucas, "...Abigail Hooten, a student-manager with Pioneer, graciously volunteered to keep the official scorebook for several matches that were not required. Abigail was a great scorekeeper that agreed to keep the book when others were uneasy about it. Her work was meticulous and a great relief for the officials that were lucky enough to have her score their matches. Thank you to Abigail and the other student-managers that make it a point to master their craft." Because of her efforts, Abigail was awarded an IHSAA "I Am a Champion of High School Sports" Pin by Athletic Director John Bingaman. The athletic department at Pioneer Jr-Sr High School appreciates the scrupulous work ethic and trustworthiness demonstrated by Abigail at the 2024 Harrison JV Girls' Volleyball Invite!
