Pioneer Jr-Sr High School

Congratulations to the Pioneer Jr-Sr High School boys' swimming and diving team for capturing first place at the 2023 HNAC Meet at Knox Community High School on Sat Jan 27! The Panthers defeated Knox Community and North Judson-San Pierre to claim the title. Quadruple winners for Pioneer included Austin Brooke (200 Yard Medley Relay, 200 Yard Individual Medley, 100 Yard Breaststroke & 400 Yard Freestyle Relay) and Ian Kitchell (200 Yard Medley Relay, 100 Yard Butterfly, 100 Yard Backstroke & 400 Yard Freestyle Relay. Both student-athletes earned 21 points each and were awarded Most Valuable Swimmers of the 2024 HNAC Boys' Meet. Fletcher Smith was a double champion (200 Yard Medley Relay & 400 Yard Freestyle Relay); while, Tayt Smith (200 Yard Medley Relay), Izayik Hopkins (1 Meter Diving), and Jared Black (400 Yard Freestyle Relay) were victorious in single events.
